To Hire a Candidate from Legacy View:
- Select WorkSpaces
- Under your organization's name, select Administrator
The Administrator WorkSpace or HOME tab will appear.
- Select Candidate
Candidates will display.
- Select a Candidate's Name to view the record in detail
- In the record, select Candidate to view the available statuses
- Select Hire Candidate
- Select the position and then Next
- Use the Select Status drop-down menu to select either Full-Time or Part-Time
- Use the calendar to enter an Offer Date; this field is optional
- Use the calendar to enter a Hire Date; this should match the day the individual will begin working
- The Social Security Number, Date of Birth, and Employee ID fields may be displayed. These fields are optional, but follow your company's policy for completing them if necessary
- Select Next
- Enter a Pay Rate. If your company's administrator has configured Pay Ranges, enter a Pay Rate within the range. If not, enter 0 or follow your company's policy
- Then select Hire
The individual is now hired and can be managed from the Team Member Record.
If your company is using Onboarding, you will be prompted to send the Onboarding Message to initiate the new hire's onboarding process
To Hire a Candidate from Beta View:
If you are using the Beta view of PeopleMatter, follow the below steps to hire:
- Select WorkSpaces
- Under your organization's name, select Administrator
- Use the toggle in the top right of your screen to switch to beta view
- From the menu on the left, select on Applicants
- Select Candidates to filter the list to only candidates
- Candidates will display. Select the 3 dots against the candidate to open up the menu
- Select Hire to hire the candidate
- Next, choose the new hires working location and job.
- If a background check is required for the job selected, you will be prompted after choosing the job, to request the background check.
- Clicking request background check will route you to the candidate record, where you can select the relevant background check
- Next, enter the hiring information for the new hire, including employment classification, offer date and hire date.
- Define the pay rate for the new hire. Any specified pay ranges will be listed below the text field.
- Click finish hire to complete the process
- The following page will display, confirming the candidate was hired successfully.
- From the hire successful page, you can use the send create account email button to email the new hire with their new hire paperwork and tasks.
