PeopleMatter: Managers: How do I Filter Applicants?

Managers and Administrators can use filters to narrow down applicants and candidates efficiently. 

To filter applicants in the Legacy view:

• Select WorkSpaces
• Under your organization's name, select Administrator

The Administrator WorkSpace or Home tab will appear.

• Select Applicants and use the toolbar drop-down menus to filter the displayed applicants

• The following filters are available:
  • Units - Filter on a specific unit or units. You can only filter on the units you have access to within the organization
  • Positions - Filter on a specific job or jobs
  • Availability - Filter by the different shifts available at your organization. This filter will narrow- down applicants based on the availability they indicated on their job application
  • Assessment - Filter on assessment results, which include:
    • Recommend - Green
    • Caution - Yellow
    • Red - Discontinue 
  • Advanced - Filter on the following items:
    • Tax Credit Processing - Not Pre-Screened, Pre-Qualified, Not Pre-Qualified
    • Status - Saved for Later, Removed

These statuses apply as PeopleMatter will never delete an applicant. You can use these filters to retrieve an individual whose record was marked previously with one of these statuses.

• • • Inactive Jobs - This status will display individuals who applied for positions that are now marked as inactive within the system
    • Only Jobs "Accepting Applications" - This status will display jobs that are currently marked as "accepting applications"
    • Only New - This status will display individuals whose applications have not yet been viewed
    • Date Applied  
      • Only the last 30 days of applicants will be pulled by default
      • The 'time range' search option has been replaced with predetermined options which include: Today, 7 Days, 30 Days, 60 Days, 90 Days, 180 Days, and 365 Days

If you have applied filters, they will appear as shown in Fig.3.

• To turn off a filter, simply select the X next to the filter's name
  Please note: This is not available on the Date Applied filter 
• Filters will "stick" or remain "on" for you as an individual until you change your filters.  If you want to remove all filters, select Clear All Filters
  Please note: The Date Applied filter will remain "on," even after selecting Clear All Filters

To Filter Applicants in the Beta View:

• Select WorkSpaces
• Under your organization's name, select Administrator
• Use the beta toggle in the upper right corner to switch to the beta view
• Select Applicants from the navigation panel on the left
• Search by applicant name, or use the filters button to the right of the search field, to open up the filter options.

• The following filters are available:
  • Quick Apply - check this box to see only quick apply applicants
  • Date - Use the date picker to see applicants from a particular date, or to specify a date range from the preset options
    • Only the last 30 days of applicants will be pulled by default
    • The 'time range' search option has been replaced with predetermined options which include: Today, 7 Days, 30 Days, 60 Days, 90 Days, 180 Days, and 365 Days
  • State and Location - allows you to filter by state or a particular location that has been applied to. You can only filter on the units you have access to within the organization
  • Positions - Filter on a specific job or jobs
  • Assessment - Filter on assessment results, which include:
    • Recommend - Green
    • Caution - Yellow
    • Red - Discontinue 
  • Tax Credit Processing - Not Pre-Screened, Pre-Qualified, Not Pre-Qualified
  • Status - Saved for Later, Removed

• Interviews - filter by Qualified, Scheduled or Not Qualified

If you have applied filters, they will appear as shown in Fig.6. To turn off a filter, simply select the X next to the filter's name. 

• To turn off a filter, simply select the X next to the filter's name
• Filters will "stick" or remain "on" for you as an individual until you change your filters.  If you want to remove all filters, select Clear All Filters

If your access is limited based on locations or positions, you will continue to only see applicants/candidates for the locations and positions to which you have access.
