This article outlines additional new network access requirements that need to be supported by customers who integrate systems with HotSchedules. These requirements are in addition to the existing integration requirements detailed here.
These new requirements have no impact on access to the HotSchedules’ Web and Mobile applications, which will continue to work without any change, and under the existing access requirements.
Examples of customer integrations impacted by these changes are SFTP file exchange, HS Connect, SOAP, and Services API.
HotSchedules Customer Integrations
If you are an integrated customer with networks that restricts access for HotSchedules integrations through IP address-based controls (IP allow-lists, IP route tables, etc.), you will need to add the IP address ranges detailed below.
The following IP address ranges are provided in place of specific IP addresses, to help simplify the implementation whilst protecting against future change and future requirements.
- 20.96.171.192/28 (20.96.171.192 - 20.96.171.207)
- 20.80.235.48/28 (20.80.235.48 - 20.80.235.63)
- 20.94.33.192/28 (20.94.33.192 - 20.94.33.207)
- 20.46.251.240/28 (20.46.251.240 - 20.46.251.255)
- 20.84.146.208/28 (20.84.146.208 - 20.84.146.23)
- 20.84.208.240/28 (20.84.208.240 - 20.84.208.255)
Multiple ranges are required as HotSchedules operates our platform across locations in multiple regions to ensure the scalability and availability of service.
These prefixes should give access to HotSchedules on TCP ports 80, 443, and 8020.
Service Integration
Any customers that integrate with our services.hotschedules.com API, including customers engaged with 3rd parties, will also need to ensure that any network or security controls are updated as above for TCP ports 80 and 443.
SFTP Integration
If your systems integrate with the HotSchedules secure file transfer protocol (SFTP) service, you will need to add TCP port 22, in addition to the ports listed in the above sections.
