Forecast Manager | Sales/Menu Items Summary and Forecast Pages

When using the filters on the main Forecast dashboard and selecting 'Sales Items' or 'Menu Items', an alternative view is shown.

Sales/Menu Item Summary Navigation Filters

• Select either SalesItem or Menu Items from the Volume filter drop-down

Menu Item Forecast Summary Table

A table beneath the filters, containing the aggregated forecast information of sales/menu items provides a quick reference point of the forecast information (see Fig.2). The table has columns for the menu 'Item' name, 'Category', 'Sell Price', 'AI Forecast', 'Adjusted Forecast' and 'Actuals' (if applicable).

• It is possible to do in-line forecast adjustments in the Adjusted Forecast column, as shown below in Fig.2

Menu Item Summary Search Filters

A search filter is available to help find sales/menu items - see Fig.3.

• To start a search, enter at least three characters in the Item text search field
• Use the Category drop-down to further narrow your search results

Menu Item Forecast Page

The Menu Item Forecast page allows users to delve into the forecast details for each specific menu item. 

• Select a sales/menu item to see its specific forecast details (graph and table)

This page functions similarly to the forecast pages for other volume types, with two key differences: 

- Different menu items can be selected by using the navigational filter
- Users can easily return to the summarized page by selecting the back button (see Fig.4)
