Reopening: Settings to Consider
The purpose of this article is to help with reopening location(s) when using the Labour Productivity module and My Schedules.
Follow this link to return to the Workforce Management Reopening Checklist.
Set Department to Close
This setting allows departments to close on specific dates, meaning zero forecasts for those 'closed' days.
For Labour Productivity customers, setting the department to close will also remove any fixed or minimum requirements on that day, assuring compliance reporting is not impacted on shut days.
This setting can be turned on or off using the bulk function in the Labour productivity module. See WFM Release Note: Labour Productivity - Set Departments to Close for guidance.
Uploading new Budgets and Wage Targets
When reopening, customers may wish to load revised budgets and wage targets for managers to follow, as well as to keep reporting up to date. The following article can be followed to load revised budgets and wage targets into the Labour Productivity module: WFM - Labour Productivity: Uploading Sales Budgets and Wage Target Percentages
Review My Schedules Settings
It is advisable to review current My Schedules setup when reopening sites, such as allowing employees to drop shifts if they are feeling unwell, and using open shifts to find cover when needed.
Cut-off times and auto publish settings may also need to be considered. These settings can be reviewed and amended within the Labour Productivity module. See below:
- Auto Publish Setting
- Cut Off Times
- My Schedule Functions
Fixed Tasks and Minimum Settings
Fixed Tasks and Minimum Settings are scheduling metrics that, along with the Workload Rules, impact the deployment graphs within Labour Productivity.
See - WFM - Labour Productivity: Fixed Task and Minimum Settings for details.
