Overview
This article provides a list of actions to carry out in Fourth's Workforce Management products in preparation for reopening a site and/or employees returning from being furloughed. The list contains links to articles that provide a higher level of detail on how to perform each task.
Furlough Status
- Remove Furlough Status
- Remove and adjust Furlough payments
- Review Access levels
- Check NMW uplifts have been completed
Wagestream customers: Please liaise with Wagestream with regard to employees returning to work and coming off furlough pay.

Holidays
- Review employees' remaining holiday entitlement
- Check all requested holiday is authorised, deleted or declined as appropriate
- Review any holidays that may need to be carried over into next holiday year
- Use our new Carry Forward Holidays functionality to carry forward employee holidays if applicable

Scheduling
- Rota Module
- Check global settings as required
- Review and Update Budget and Wage Targets
- Add in fixed costs if required

Labour Productivity/Advanced Schedules
- Check if departments need to be set to close/open
- Review and Update Budgets
- Review My Schedule Settings

Engage
- Create a ‘coming back to work’ company group to communicate regular updates
- Set up Announcements for any key info & updates
- Use Announcements as follows:
- Announcements will send push notifications to go to everyone
- Use the announcement to drive adoption of groups where updates will be shared
As you think about reopening readiness, we know that the safety of your staff and guests will be paramount.
