Overview
This document explains how to create Content for Custom Menu Options within the Salesforce Console.
An example of a Custom Menu Option could be an organisation's Policies. Example Content could be "Company Paternity Leave".

Only users with Administrative access to Salesforce will be able to carry out the steps detailed below.
Process

Any existing and historic content items will display on this page.

To create new Content, all required fields in the ‘New Content’ page need to be populated.

Once saved, it is possible to add an image to the Content, which will show as a circular icon to the left its title on the side menu. It is also possible to attach a file to the Content. Using the paternity leave example, an attached file could be a company policy document (PDF).

Process
- Select Content from menu bar.

Any existing and historic content items will display on this page.
- To create new Content, select New
- Existing Content can be edited by selecting the Content ID

- Chose Custom as the Record Type
- Select Continue

To create new Content, all required fields in the ‘New Content’ page need to be populated.

- Enter the Content Name in the Name field
- For the Content to appear on the Fourth platform, set the Status as Published
- Enter a Custom Header to provide more detail on the Content’s name. This will display on the right hand side of the Content once published
- Make a selection(s) from the Restrict to Country if required
- Use the magnifying glass symbol to search and select the Custom Content Menu option for the Content to appear in
- The Account field should auto-populate with the default account
- Use the Detail field for the main body of text that will display when users select the Content on the platform
