The Change
The holiday section from the My Rotas tab will be moved to the My Holidays tab. The Rota tab will only show for employees who appear on the schedule.
Release Date: 1st August 2018.
Reason for the Change
This is a more logical organisation of information within Employee Self Service (ESS) and allows the hiding of the Rota tab for employees who are never scheduled for shifts.
Customers Affected
All Employee Self Service customers.
Release Notes
Viewing Holiday Requests
Customers can manage holiday requests within Employee Self Service. Fourth can enable this functionality on request. If this functionality is not enabled, customers will see the new Holiday tab but it will only show limited information and cannot be used for creating or deleting holidays.
Holiday Allowance Details
All users will see a new tab in Employee Self Service, labelled My Holiday.
When a user accesses this section, they will see their outstanding holiday allowance and other standard information. This is the same data presented to the user as in Workforce Management self-service.
