Overview
Skill Levels can be assigned to an employee's Job Codes to indicate their level of proficiency for each job. Skill Levels can also be used by the Auto Scheduler to help determine which employees should be assigned to shifts.
Skill Levels must already be configured for your location before they can be assigned to employees.
Note: This article covers assigning an existing Skill Level to an employee. To create or edit the Skill Levels available for your location, see HS Setting: Adding and Editing Skill Levels.
Assign a Skill Level to an Employee
- Navigate to Staff > Staff List.
- Select the employee's name to open their profile.
- Select the Jobs / Schedules tab.
- Under Job Settings, locate the Job Code you want to update.
- Select the Skill Level dropdown for the corresponding Job Code.
- Select the appropriate Skill Level.
Your changes are saved automatically after a Skill Level is selected.
About Skill Levels
An employee can have a different Skill Level for each Job Code assigned to them. For example, an employee who works multiple jobs may have a higher Skill Level for one job than another.
The Skill Levels available in the dropdown are determined by the Skill Levels configured for your location.
