Your Applicant List in GoHire allows you to review everyone who has applied to any of your jobs online. You can view their entire application and information from this list.
You will notice that each applicant has a Screen Score specified:
This score is reflective of the screening questions that they filled out in your job application. When you created the job, you selected ideal answers to our basic screening questions and had the opportunity to create custom screening questions as well. You also ranked each of these questions on a scale of importance.
Your selections for the importance of each question are used to automatically rank applicants for the job.
For example, if an applicant answers every single question perfectly according to your selections, they should have a score of 100%.
Alternatively, if they marked an answer incorrectly on a question that you ranked as Strongly Preferred, their score will be lower.
If you would like to see the breakdown of how the score was calculated for each applicant, select their name from the Applicant List. A pop-up will display with all of their information. There will be a tab labelled Screen Score. Selecting this will show you a break down of their answers to the screening questions and how they were scored.
There is no way to edit the screen score of an applicant since it is solely based on the applicant's answers to the screening questions.
You will still have the ability to set the applicant's status to anything you wish and even hire them, regardless of their Screen Score.
