There may be times when you need to override a previously approved time off request due to scheduling conflicts or a change of plans. With the appropriate permissions, managers are able to do this from the Manage Time Off page.
Overriding Approved Time Off
Log into HotSchedules and select Manage Time Off from the Home tab in the main menu.
From here, choose the Calendar tab and navigate to a date range that includes the request you would like to override.
Approved time off will show in blue for the range it was requested for. Choosing any cell that says Approved will bring up a menu showing details about the request. To remove the request, select Deny.
Once a previously approved time off request has been denied, it will no longer appear in the scheduler, and the employee can be assigned a shift for that day.
