Customer-Targeted Fraud

We have recently become aware of four separate instances of an attempted fraud scheme targeting our Customers. In each instance, the attempt was based on defrauding the identity of Fourth Finance personnel and was unsuccessful.
If you receive an email positioned as being from a member of Fourth’s Credit Control team providing details of a new Fourth bank account to make payments to, please ignore this. In these known instances, the communication has come from the financier. com domain. However, other domains may be used. These notifications are not genuine emails so please do not make any changes to the bank details used for payments to Fourth.
Any formal notification of such changes would only come from our CFO and we would always advise that you take steps to verify such changes ahead of payment.
At Fourth, we take security seriously so please be vigilant and if you are, or have been, the target of such an email please contact security@fourth.com.
