The Change
Work has been completed to display weather data in Labour Productivity in formats understood by US customers.
Reason for the Change
This piece of work is the final part of the ‘Americanization’ feature.
Customers Affected
Functionality available for any customer. Should be configured as appropriate during project phase.
Release Notes
There is a new organisation setting.
Fig.1 – Default setting: Celsius
This setting is default set to Celsius which displays weather data as ‘normal’ for Labour Productivity, the view that we are used to.
When Fahrenheit is selected, the weather display will show the new format on the Homepage and Forecast page.
Fig.2 – Temperature set to Fahrenheit
Fig.3 – Weather details with temperatures showing as Fahrenheit
Fig.4 – Further weather details with temperature showing as Fahrenheit
What has not Changed
All other functionality related to the weather service calls and forecasting.
