What’s Changing?
Fourth’s Purchasing & Inventory release 4.6.100 includes new functionality. Specifically:
Release Date: 13th (EMEA) / 16th Jan (USA) 2020
Reason for the Change
Nutrition Label change to comply with new US legislation
With the new US legislation there is a requirement to update the existing Nutrition label.
Amended message for Split Requisition logic
The initial message released with the Split Requisition logic was confusing, so needed to be amended to a more meaningful one.
New setting at CP to modify Product Active status
With the business growth of our customers there is a need to be able to give varying levels of access to users.
Alternative email field for SSO
As Fourth accounts are usually provided to users using their personal email address, we needed a way to be able to generate a Fourth account with users’ personal email addresses from Purchasing & Inventory.
Customers Affected
All Purchasing & Inventory users.
Release Notes
Nutrition Label Change to Comply with new US Legislation
Fig.1 and Fig.2 below show examples of the old and new Nutrition labels.
In addition, 3 new nutrients have been added to accommodate for the new requirements:
Values for these nutrients can be specified for each Recipe and will appear on the new label.
Amend Message for Split Requisition Logic
One of the messages that is shown as an outcome of the Split Requisition logic has been changed to the following example:
New Setting at CP for Product Active Status
At the CP level there is a new setting called Allow Active Product Details.
If this setting is enabled, the ‘Product Detail Active’ flag will be editable at Property level. Once a Product Detail is set to Active at the Property level and saved, this detail will also be activated at CP for consistency and visibility.
Alternative email field for SSO
A new field called SSO Email Address has been added in User Details > User Settings.
If this new field is populated, when requesting a “Fourth ID”, the SSO Email Address will be used instead of the regular Email Address (though both fields can be populated at the same time). This gives users the ability to link a personal email address for their Fourth Account.
If the SSO Email Address is blank, the system will behave as before and use the Email Address field for generating the Fourth Account, system notifications, and work-related emails.
