What's Changing?

A new Data Imports menu option in the HR module has been introduced, along with new user access permissions that control which upload(s) different users are permitted to do.

Reason for the Change

To simplify navigation to batch CSV uploads and improve their security/reliability.

Please Note: A full user guide article is available here, for Data Imports in HR.

To allow access to the new Data Imports page and control which type of upload a certain user can perform, user access permissions must be applied.

• Using the side menu, go to HR > Users > Assign User Access > search for and select the required Employee
• Select User Profile from the top-right corner
• Locate the new 'Data Imports' permission group
• To allow access to the new menu option in the HR module, tick Data Imports
• Then, tick the box(es) for any import type that the user is to have

Users with the Data Imports permission enabled can then navigate to the new menu option: 

• Using the side menu, go to HR > Administration > Data Imports

This will open the new 'Employee Batch Upload from CSV' page.

• From here, select an Upload Type (available options will depend on the assigned user access permissions), select a prepared CSV file and upload it

Please Note: The old pathway to get to the Batch CSV Uploads will no longer be available, as the button(s) for Batch CSV Upload will be removed.

Improved Navigation for Onboarding Tasks

What's Changing?

New navigation links have been added to four 'Company Admin' sections of the HR module, allowing users to quickly access pages related to Onboarding configuration.

Reason for the Change

Enhances usability by streamlining navigation, reducing the time spent searching for relevant pages, and improving the overall efficiency of the Onboarding configuration process.

New navigation options have been added to the following configuration areas:

Locations
Divisions 
Job Titles 
Contracts 

Locations

• Using the side menu, go to HR > Company Admin > Locations and select a Location
• Use the drop-down arrow to see the new options (see Fig.4):
   
• Assign Brands
  • • Select this to assign a single brand to this Location (see Fig.5)
• Assign To Company/Pay Basis Mapping
  • • Select this to assign a Company/Pay Basis Mapping to this Location (see Fig.6)
    • If a Company/Pay Basis Mapping is set to ALL Locations, then this Location will already be included. If set to Bespoke then this assignment table can be used to assign the Location as one of those bespoke ones
  • Onboarding Template Configuration
    • Select this to display and operate the Onboarding Template Configuration page within the Location details, without having to navigate away (see Fig.7)
    • Access to these settings remains subject to the Onboarding Template Configuration user access permissions

Divisions

• Using the side menu, go to HR > Company Admin > Divisions and select a Division
• Use the drop-down arrow to see the new option (see Fig.8):

• Assign To Company/Pay Basis Mapping
  • Select this to assign a Company/Pay Basis Mapping to this Division (see Fig.9)
  • If a Company/Pay Basis Mapping is set to ALL Divisions, then this Division will already be included. If set to Bespoke then this assignment table can be used to assign the Division as one of those bespoke ones

Job Titles

• Using the side menu, go to HR > Company Admin > Job Titles and select a Job Title
• Use the drop-down arrow to see the new options (see Fig.10)

  • Select this to assign a Company/Pay Basis Mapping to this Job Title (see Fig.11)
  • If a Company/Pay Basis Mapping is set to ALL Job Titles, then this Job Title will already be included. If set to Bespoke then this assignment table can be used to assign the Job Title as one of those bespoke ones
• Onboarding Template Configuration
  • Select this to display and operate the Onboarding Template Configuration page within the Job Title details, without having to navigate away (see Fig.12)

Contracts

• Use the drop-down arrow to see the new options (see Fig.13)

  • Select this to assign a Company/Pay Basis Mapping to this Contract (see Fig.14)
  • If a Company/Pay Basis Mapping is set to ALL Contracts, then this Contract will already be included. If set to Bespoke then this assignment table can be used to assign the Contract as one of those bespoke ones
• Onboarding Template Configuration
  • Select this to display and operate the Onboarding Template Configuration page within the Contract details, without having to navigate away (see Fig.15)
  • Access to these settings remains subject to the Onboarding Template Configuration user access permissions
