What's Changing?

Users can now generate two reports for open shifts at all locations they have access to, extracting data such as location name, department name, shift details, internal/external employee desire to work, employee participation, and assignment status.

Reason for the Change

Helps improve decision-making and reporting by providing detailed data on shift demand, employee participation, and workforce optimisation.

Customers Affected

Scheduling customers with the 'PublishedShiftsEnabled' setting enabled and users with the user-level permission 'Manage Employee Requests'.

Release Note Info/Steps

• In Scheduling, go to the Reporting tab and select Audit Log Export
• From the drop-down, select Open Shift Summary or Open Shift Audit
• Set a From and To Date (max period is 84 days) and then Ok

The reports will download as CSV files and contain information for the Location that the user has access to.

The reports have the following columns:

Open Shift Summary

1. Location Name 

2. Department Name

3. Shift ID 

4. Shift Date

5. Shift Start Time

6. Shift End Time

7. Internal Employees  - Can Work - the number of employees within the location of the shift who have said they can work

8. External Employees - Can Work - the number of employees outside of the location of the shift who have said they can work

Open Shift Audit

1. Location Name

2. Department Name

3. Shift ID

4. Shift Date

5. Shift Start Time

6. Shift End Time

7. Employee Name Can Work - first name and last name, or preferred name, or preferred name + last name (depending on the enabled setting)

8. Employee Name Cannot Work

9. Personal Number

10. Is Employee External? - yes/no 

11. Request Status – only populated with 'assigned' when the shift is assigned

12. Request Status Updated DateTime

13. Updated By – manager's first/last name
