Overview
This article shows how DocuSign can be used to create a company brand (colours and logos) to be used in documents that are sent to employees. Once a brand is created, it is then assigned to a user 'Group', for which specific users are selected. Then, when those users send documents to employees, the brand formatting is applied.
Create branding
- To enable a Company Brand, go to DocuSign > Settings > Brands

- Select Add Brand, enter a Brand Name and then Save

- Enter the Company Name
- To add company Logos and Colours, select Edit Your Theme

- To upload a Logo, select the field under Signing Logo or Email Logo > browse for and select the image
- Select any of the following to change their colour:
- Header Background
- Header Text
- Button Background
- Button Text
- Pick a new colour or enter a Hex value (see Fig.5)
The' Preview' area shows the applied logo and settings (see Fig.4).
- Once all changes are made, select Apply Brand

Create Groups
Once a brand has been created, users need to have it assigned to them so that the documents they send display the company branding. To assign brands, a user 'group' needs to be created.
- To do this, go to Settings and then under 'Users and Groups, select Groups

- Select Add Group, enter a Group Name and then Add

- To assign users to the group, select Assign Users, select the required user(s) and then Assign

- To assign brands to a group, select Brands > Assign Brands

- Tick the box against the required Brand and then Assign

The required users and brands are then assigned to the group.
Assign Brands to Templates
Now that the brand and user group have been created, the brand needs to be assigned to the individual document templates.
- To assign a brand to a template in DocuSign, go to Templates > select a Template > Edit > Advanced Options
- Choose the brand from the drop-down and then select Save
