New Way of Deleting Contractor Shifts

What’s Changing?

Users will now see a modal to select the specific day for which they wish to delete shifts. The feature also includes an update where deleting all contractor shifts for a day will remove the entire row from the display, streamlining the interface. However, fulfilled or actual contractor shifts will not be deleted, ensuring data integrity and operational continuity.

Reason for the Change

The update addresses user feedback requesting more precise control over shift deletions, enhancing the usability of the scheduling system. By aligning the deletion process for contractor shifts with that of open shifts, the platform provides a consistent user experience, reducing the learning curve and potential errors.

Release Notes 

On the Scheduling page, on the 'Contractors' row, a new bin icon has been added.

• Select the bin icon

A pop-up will appear (Fig.2)

• Use the tick boxes to select the day(s) for which the contractor shifts need to be deleted and then select Delete Shifts

Please note: The 'undo' feature has been removed, so now if you delete contractor shifts it cannot be undone.

Comma Separators in Weekly Totals (Thousands)

What’s Changing?

The display format for weekly totals in the application will now include commas as thousand separators. For example, the number 3000.13 will now display as 3,000.13.

Reason for the Change

This enhancement addresses user feedback requesting improved readability of numerical data. By implementing thousand separators, users can more easily interpret and analyze large numbers without errors, aligning the user interface more closely with standard financial reporting practices.

All Scheduling customers.

Release Note Information

Users do not need to perform any actions to benefit from this update. The new formatting will be applied automatically to all existing and future data displayed in the weekly totals section of the application. Fig.3 below shows some examples.
