Screen Size Warning Message |
A change to the warning message displayed when using a narrow viewport size, that allows users to continue using the application |
Release date: November 29th 2023
- Enabled by default? - Yes
- Set up by customer admin? - No
- Enable via support ticket? - No
- Affects configuration or data? - No
What's Changing?
Currently, when users open Scheduling in a browser window with a viewport width of less than 992px, they see a message that forces them to resize their window or rotate their device before they can continue. This is now being changed so that the message warns them that their screen size is not supported but they can still use the application.
Reason for the Change
A lot of customers use Scheduling with a 'split screen' view, reviewing data alongside it in another application. This was possible with the old user interface so needs to still be possible with the new one.
Customers Affected
All Scheduling customers.
Release Notes
When users open Scheduling in a browser window narrower than 992px, they will see the message below (Fig.1).
By selecting OK, they can continue and use the application.
Please note that certain functionalities may not work as intended or as they would if the screen size were increased.
