Overview
This article provides guidance on the most common issues faced when attempting to complete a contract in Fourth's Applicant Tracking System (ATS) using Signable.
Common Issues
I haven't been emailed my contract
-
- Issue: A contract is not issued immediately when a candidate is moved onto the 'Onboarding - collecting documents' stage within ATS
- Cause: The candidate has not completed the pre-modal contract widget
- Resolution: The candidate must first complete the pre-modal contract widget. Instructions can be found in this article
I have completed the 'Sign Off Your Contract' button but nothing happens - linking
- Issue: A candidate has completed the pre-modal contract widget, but has not received an email for their contract in Signable
- Cause: One cause of this, is because the role the candidate application is under has not been linked to a fingerprint within Signable
- Resolution: A head office user for ATS will need to link the role to a fingerprint before the candidate tries again. Instructions can be found within this article
I have completed the 'Sign Off Your Contract' button but nothing happens - invalid details
- Issue: A candidate has completed the pre-modal contract widget, but has not received an email for their contract in Signable
- Cause: Sometimes this will be due to the candidate's email address on record in ATS. Spelling mistakes e.g. 'user@gmail.con' (instead of .com) or 'user@gmail.com ' (whitespace after the 'm') means the emailing of a document once the widget has been completed, will fail
-
Resolution: Advise the candidate that they must check (and correct) their email address on record, by accessing their ATS account and editing the email address via My Account > Personal Information > Edit Details
