Introducing new icons in the shift box
Reason for the Change
To quickly see important shift details displayed in the shift box.
Customers Affected
All Scheduling customers using the new Scheduling 2023 version.
Release Notes
For more visibility in the shift box, a new icon hierarchy was introduced. It will help in cases where more than one icon needs to be displayed in the shift box - the most important icon will be displayed and coloured in blue.
The icon hierarchy for the employee shifts is as follows, where 1 is the most important shift icon.
1 | Shift with paid break |
2 | Different pay factor |
3 | Shift with unpaid break |
4 | Notes |
- For the open shifts, the icon for published or unpublished will always be visible as shown in Fig.1 and Fig.2

- For the contractor shifts the icon for the number of workers will always be visible as shown in Fig.3

- There is a new icon for paid and unpaid breaks shown in Fig.4 and Fig.5.
