Overview
MacromatiX Mobile Travel Path allows a manager to set up their stock in Macromatix based on where it is physically located in their restaurant. A well structured MacromatiX Travel Path will save a manager time during their inventory count and improve accuracy when counting stock.
Using a mobile device, MacromatiX Travel Path allows a manager to create locations, allocate items to those locations, choose the order of items and locations, search for items and even remove and add items to & from the MacromatiX storage cloud.
Mobile Travel path is a powerful tool to help a restaurant keep their stock organized and improve productivity when completing daily, weekly and monthly inventory counts.
Best practices for managing the Travel Path are:
-
Save time when setting up the restaurant's travel path by using a mobile device
-
Setting up the Travel Path is a medium sized task, but then will only require a small amount of maintenance
- Updates to the Travel Path should be made when new items are received or when new stock locations are created

Feature: Head Office Review Location
MacromatiX can configure a location to be available for Restaurant Users to send all deleted items to for Head Office to review. We call this location Head Office (HO) Review. (Fig.11)
Only a Head Office User can delete items from this location. However, if needed or directed, a Restaurant User can move these items back to a count location.
The Head Office Review feature can allow a Restaurant Manager to move an item here that is no longer sold, or was imported by Head Office in error, so that they can complete a stock count if counting all items are mandatory.

Both the HO Review location and the New Items location can't be deleted, it's name can't be edited and it's order can't be hanged by a Restaurant User. This is set by a customers Head Office. When in use, the New Items location will appear first and the HO Review location will appear last.
