GM Tenure Report

Hi Community, 

Is there a way to run a report that shows who was the General Manager of each location historically?

We've pulled a couple of reports, but they only seem to show people who were terminated at a location. What I’m really looking for is something that shows the tenure of each GM, including those who were promoted or transferred.

For example, if a GM was promoted to Cluster Manager, the report doesn’t reflect that they were previously a GM at a particular site – so quite a few names are missing from the history.

    Hi There,

    What I’d really like to see, if possible, is a spreadsheet showing the 'career history' of each person (current and former), so I can track the tenure of each role and location.

    As a follow up, ideally customer would like to see the Career history information for all employees in one report instead of going on the individual records one by one- does anything like this exist?

    Hello, 

    Thank you for posting this question.

    The closest report to this would be the "Employee History" report. 

    This can be found in the HR module through the following pathway:

    HR > Reports > Employee History Report

    From here, you can filter by the "Job Title" field and select a date range of up to 12 months. 


    This would return the employees who have had a job title change in this period.

    You can then filter this to identify those who were previously General Managers. 

    You can also export this data to Excel in order to easily filter and consolidate the data. 

    You could also combine this with a custom report to ensure you capture the current general managers:

    However, there is not currently a way to report on the full career history of all employees in a single report. 

    If you would like to see this functionality, I would suggest raising an ideas request for this.
