Salary changes

Thank you for your post.

When changing a salary within the employment details section of the employee record, a pop-up box will appear allowing for an effective date to be set for the change.

The new salary will then be effective from the date that is inputted.

We always use the employment details to amend salaries, we also process the effective date, it still pulls through the salary at the new rate for the whole period.

Thanks for the response.

This likely points to the "Mid Pay Period Change" global settings not being configured to pro rata a salary change.

I would advise reviewing the configuration via the below:

Payroll > Administration > Global Settings > Mid Pay Period Changes > Tick "Do Not Allow Mid Pay Period Change" > Adjust the other settings that now appear as needed

If the above is unticked, this will be the cause of the issue.
