E-clock - how are pictures of employees clocking in stored?
With e-clock taking pictures of employees clocking in - is there a declaration or T&Cs page built into the registration process whereby an employee needs to sign they are okay for the selfie to be taken and stored?
How is the image stored and for how long and who can access this?
I understand the picture can be disabled and clock in will just consist of the pin number - but just need more clarification around the storage of selfies.

Hi Caroline Bethell,
The information below is taken from this article
This does not cover everything you have asked though, so we'll find out more and post an additional response.
How long are employee selfies stored for?
- Pictures captured via the app are deleted after 2 years of storage
How is the data in eClock used/stored in relation to GDPR?
- The image is stored in a secure Azure Blob Storage container
- When an employee takes a selfie, the device simply catches a picture. There is no AI or facial pairing - the images are simply displayed within T&A screen in Scheduling
- If an employee requests that they be 'forgotten', please raise a ticket with Fourth's support team (all selfie captures can be deleted on request)
Best wishes,
Fourth Communities Team0
