Uploading inventory into Adaco via excel spreadsheet

I would like to match my inventory sheet to shelf. I currently have a excel spreadsheet that lists my inventory in each storeroom as it is located on the shelf. How do I upload it to Adaco?  I saw a similar question posted here, but the link to answer that question does not work.

Additionally, I would like to label my shelves and have those specific locations to be reflected in Adaco once an outlet places a requisitions. How do I do make this possible, and would doing so have an affect on recipes?

Good day Keiwana!

Your question has two parts to it, so I've responded to each part separately.  The first query is around creating inventory locations, these you will want to do create first.  Documentation how to do this can be found within this article Adaco: Property Setup: Location – Fourth & HotSchedules Customer Success Portal.  Once you have locations created you can import products into those locations as long as they are in the correct import format for the solution.  This format is outlined within this article Adaco: Maintain Guide Import Tool – Fourth & HotSchedules Customer Success Portal.

The recipe affect has to do with inventory depletion of the outlet where the recipe is produced. Typically we don't see recipes produced in storerooms but rather in food outlets such as kitchens.  When the recipe is sold the ingredients are then depleted from the "preparing outlet", some documentation around this process can be found within this article Adaco: Recipe Preparing Outlets and Prepared Quantities – Fourth & HotSchedules Customer Success Portal.
