What’s Changing?
Adaco release 4.6.79 includes some minor changes to functionality. Specifically:
Reasons for the Change
As POS Sales are sometimes loaded in error or contain incorrect data passed from the POS system, it is sometimes required to cancel these sales and re-load them. Previously this was a task that required Fourth’s service team to perform but functionality has now been built in to the application allowing authorised users to cancel POS sales.
When updating recipes to reflect changes in ingredient usage it was previously only possible to mass replace product ingredients. This functionality has now been extended to allow the mass replacement of sub recipe ingredients.
Customers Affected
All Adaco users.
Release Notes
Reverse POS Sales
Within Property > Set Up > User Groups > Recipe > POS Sales there is a new access right called Reverse POS Sales.
This access right will be disabled by default.
Enabling this access right will allow a user who is assigned to the user group to reverse (cancel) POS sales.
The sales will then be cancelled and all sales revenues and inventory transactions relating to the POS sales batch will be removed.
Please note: POS Sales within previous periods which have been closed cannot be reversed as inventory counts have been reported and locked at the period end and cannot be subsequently amended.
Ability to replace sub-recipes when using Ingredient Replacement
Within Recipes > Ingredient Replacement it is now possible to search for and select either products or recipes as either the replacement or replaced ingredient. As with a product ingredient replacement, the replacement ingredient must use a unit of measure which is convertible to the unit of measure of the ingredient to be replaced. When selecting the recipes in which the replacement will be made it will not be possible to replace a sub recipe with the recipe in which it is contained (i.e. a recipe cannot contain itself as a sub recipe). Such recipes will be displayed in grey italics and cannot be selected for replacement.
Action Required
If the ability to reverse POS sales is required then the new access right Reverse POS Sales should be enabled for one or more user groups appropriate to the users who will perform this operation.
