What’s Changing?
Introduction of a new Global Setting that prevents the rehiring of Employees, a specific number of months after their termination date.
Release date: 31st October 2019
Reason for the Change
Some customers do not allow Employees to be rehired on the system a certain number of months after they have been terminated, so the change helps to simplify this policy (if enacted).
Customers Affected
All HR & Payroll customers.
Release Notes
A new Global Setting has been added in the HR Module where the number of months after termination an Employee can no longer be rehired can be specified.
When going to rehire an Employee (see WFM - Rehiring an Employee), if the number of months specified in the Global Setting have passed since the Employee’s termination date, a message will appear to inform that they cannot be rehired.
