What’s Changing?
Introduction of a new user level permission which will only allow for positive fixed costs to be entered.

Reason for the Change
The existing Edit Fixed Costs permission allows users to enter negative fixed costs. Allowing only positive fixed cost values will help ensure that correct fixed costs are entered.
Customers Affected
The new functionality will only be available for HR-integrated and standalone Labour Productivity customers (not People System-integrated customers).
Release Notes
A new user level permission - Edit Fixed Costs Positive Values - will be added to the user levels list. The user level permission will need to be assigned to the relevant user levels done by someone with Admin user level.
If the user enters in a negative fixed cost, then the value will not be saved and the error message as shown in Fig.2 will be displayed.

- Go to Settings > User Levels > select Edit against the required User Level
- Tick the box against Edit Fixed Costs Positive Values

- With this user level applied, go to Reports > Mange Fixed Costs
If the user enters in a negative fixed cost, then the value will not be saved and the error message as shown in Fig.2 will be displayed.
