Release Notes: Adaco 4_6_78

What’s Changing?

Adaco release 4.6.78 includes some minor changes to functionality.  Specifically:

• Prevent item changes in guides whilst inventory is in progress

Proposed Release Date: 13th February 2018

Reason for the Change
Preventing item changes in guides whilst inventory is in progress will ensure that the items in the Inventory Guide remain consistent with those on the Outlet Inventory sheets used for counting during period end.

All Adaco users.

Prevent Item Changes in Guides Whilst Inventory is in Progress

Whilst adding and deleting items from guides has always been prevented during the inventory process, it was previously possible to untick (or tick) the In Inventory Guide option during the inventory process.

Now, when this is attempted, an error message will appear. See Fig.1 below.

Action Required
Users should ensure all items that are required to be part of an inventory count should be marked as In Inventory Guide prior to starting the period end process.
