What's Changing?
Addition of two new custom report fields in the HR module for 'Week 1' and 'Week 2' of Statutory Paternity Leave.
Reason for the Change
To provide expected reporting functionality, following the changes made to the Statutory Paternity Leave and Pay functionality in the Payroll Module.
Customers Affected
All customers using the HR and Payroll modules.
Release Note Info/Steps
To locate the new custom report fields, go to:
- HR > Reports > Customised Reports
- When creating or updating a custom report, under Report Group select Payroll
The following fields will now be available:

- SPP Week 1 Start
- SPP Week 1 Notified Date
- SPP Week 2 Start
- SPP Week 2 Notified Date

- Select these fields (with other required fields), and run the report to see the results in Microsoft Excel (Fig.2)

- If compared to an employee's Paternity Record in Payroll (Payroll > Employees > Employee List > Find Employee > Employee Payroll Info > Ordinary Statutory Paternity Pay), the data will be identical, as expected

Please Note: For Paternity records with a 'Baby Due Date' before 7th April 2024, the field in the employee's record will still be called Notified Leave Start, but the SPP Week 1 Start can be used in customised reports to report on.
