Overview
Using the Fuego Direct Deposit service, employees can receive their pay up to two days early1 by having it deposited directly to their Fuego Card. When an employee sets up a Direct Deposit using the Fuego app they can be presented with different options/instructions, based on their employer's requirements.
This article explains the different options available for employers to have set up in the app so that their employees can all follow the same business processes and get their Direct Deposits set up as quickly and easily as possible.
Fuego Direct Deposit - Configuration Options
There are three options for what an employee sees when they go to set up a Direct Deposit in the Fuego app.
- In-App Enrollment - using the Fuego app, the employee authorises the sharing of their account and routing number with their employer and enrolls in the Direct Deposit service
- Setup Instructions - the employee sees a default message, advising to provide their account and routing number to their employer, as well as custom instructions from the employer
- Default Message - the employee sees the same default message as above but no other instruction
Please Note: This configuration is typically set up during your Fuego Service implementation period but can be altered at any time by submitting a request to the Fuego support team.

1For you to be paid early, your employer or payment provider must submit the deposit early. Your payment provider may not submit the deposit early each payment period, so ask when they submit your deposit information to the bank for processing. Early funds deposit begins on the 2nd qualifying deposit, which is defined as a direct deposit greater than $5.00 received from the same payer.
