What's Changing?

The Bids button which was previously only accessible from the Requisition screen is now accessible from the Product Master screen.

Reason for the Change

Improved user experience. Removes the need to navigate away from a product's details to manage any bids/quotations.

Customers Affected

All Adaco customers.

Release Note Info/Steps

Users who have access to the Product Master screen will now see the Bids button when viewing a product - see Fig.1.

Bids, or quotations, are part of the 'Product Details' rather than the overall product.

• To show any current bids for the selected product detail, select Bids

Additionally, if a User Group has the permission Purchasing > Quotation Center > Access Rights > Create they will be able to create a new quotation for the selected product detail.

New Terms/Acronyms

Quotations from vendors are referred to as 'bids'.
