Overview
Logins for the Fuego Admin Tool are set up during the Implementation of the Fuego solution. This article covers the setup and process when logging into the Fuego Admin Tool for the first time, and troubleshooting.
There are two different options for logging in.
Please note, to utilize best security practices, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is required when using the Fuego admin tool. MFA authentication will be required for every login and the timeout period is 60 minutes.
- For Site Manager logins, authentication can be provided via SMS.
- Anyone with a Client Admin login will have to download a Microsoft MFA tool to their mobile device.
Site Manager Login
You will receive an email with your login and password during the setup of your Fuego solution - your login will typically be your email address.
- Using a web browser, go to https://admin.fuegosecure.com/
- Enter the details provided from the email and select Sign in
If a cell number was included in the setup of your profile, you will then receive an authentication code via SMS.
- On the next screen, confirm the mobile number by selecting 'Send verification code'
- You will then be prompted to enter the SMS authentication code
If you have been set up without a cell number then you will be able to authenticate using a separate app. Please follow the steps as shown under Authenticating via Application.
Client Admin Login
First-time Login
- You will receive an email with your login and password from your Implementation specialist during the setup of your Fuego solution
- Your login will typically be your email address
- Go to your browser and enter the following address: https://admin.fuegosecure.com/
- Enter the details provided from the email and select Sign in
Authenticating via Application
- If you already have an existing or alternative authenticator app, scan the QR code to link it to the Fuego Admin tool
- If you are not already using an authenticator app, use the Apple or Google app store links and download the Microsoft Authenticator app. In the Microsoft app, use the + icon to add an account and then scan the QR code on the screen
- Select Continue
- Enter the OTP (One-Time Passcode) from your authenticator app
You will then be logged into the Fuego Admin Tool.
After this, when logging in you will be prompted for an OTP from the same authenticator app that you have just linked to the Fuego Admin Tool.
Changing Mobile Device
- If you are changing mobile devices or need to reinstall your authenticator app it is good practice to back up the app so you do not have to relink it to the Fuego Admin Tool again
- Some helpful links at the bottom of this article have been added to help you find the best way to back up and restore your app settings
If you do switch your device or need to reinstall your Authenticator app and 'lose' your connection to the Fuego Admin Tool you will need to raise a ticket to the Fuego Support team to request your 'Fuego Account to be Reset to First Login' using the form here. Please include your Login.
