HS: Updating Projected and Actual Sales on Nonintegrated Sites

Overview

Nonintegrated HotSchedules sites do not receive sales and labor data automatically from a point-of-sale (POS) system. If your site is nonintegrated, this information can be entered manually in HotSchedules.

From the Proforma report, you can manually update:

• Projected sales
• Actual sales
• Actual labor
• Guest counts

Keeping this information current allows you to compare projected and actual performance within HotSchedules.

Note: Integrated sites receive applicable sales and labor data from their POS integration and typically do not need to manually enter this information.

Access the Proforma Report

1. In HotSchedules, select Reporting.
2. Expand Proforma.
3. Select the appropriate Proforma report.
4. Select the week you want to update.
5. Select the appropriate available shifts, if applicable.
6. Select Generate Report.

Once the report is generated, you can update projected or actual information for the selected week.

Update Projected Sales

1. From the generated Proforma report, select Update Projections.
2. The Projected Sales and Guest Count window opens. 
3. Enter the projected sales information in the appropriate fields.
4. Review the information you entered. 
5. Select Save.

The updated projections are reflected in the Proforma report.

Update Actual Sales and Labor

1. From the generated Proforma report, select Update Actuals.
2. The Actual Sales and Guest Count window opens.

3. Enter the applicable actual information for the selected week.

Depending on your site's configuration, this may include sales, labor, and guest count information.

4. Review the information you entered. 
5. Select Save.

The manually entered actual information is reflected in the Proforma report.
