Hi
Can employees/admins see a clear breakdown of accrued holiday, maximum entitlement and bank-holiday entitlement?

Hello Abe,
Yes, Fourth WFM does provide a breakdown of holiday information for both administrators and employees. Here is where each piece of information can be found:
For Administrators (HR Module):
To view a full holiday breakdown for any employee, navigate to:
- HR > Employees > Employee List > Search & Select Employee > Employee Info > Holidays
This page displays:
- Hours/Days Accrued: The holiday entitlement that has been built up based on the employee's working pattern and accrual method.
- Hours/Days Taken: Holiday that has already been used.
- Hours/Days Booked: Holiday that has been approved but not yet taken.
- Hours/Days Remaining: The balance available for the employee to use.
- Maximum Entitlement: The total annual holiday entitlement for the holiday year.
- Average Hours/Week: For casual and flexible employees, this shows the average weekly hours used to calculate accrual.
Bank holiday entitlement visibility will depend on how the organization has configured bank holidays. If bank holidays are included as part of the overall annual leave entitlement, they will be reflected within the total figures above. If bank holidays are managed separately (for example, as a distinct absence type or through a separate entitlement allocation), they may not appear as a standalone line on the standard Holidays page.
To check how bank holidays are configured for a specific job title:
- HR > Company Admin > Job Titles > select Job Title > Edit Default Holidays
For Employees (Fourth Mobile App / Employee Self-Service):
Employees can view their own holiday balance through the Fourth mobile app or Employee Self-Service (ESS) portal under the Holidays section. The level of detail visible to employees depends on your portal's configuration and the employee's access permissions.
