Auto Rounding Threshold Question

Alfredo at Loews would like to further understand the functionality under Admin > Receiving > Auto Rounding Threshold.

He setup a $10 threshold and the default rate under Loews Hollywood. However when he pulls up a PO to receive with an eDOC available and it has a difference, the rate is not showing to make it balanced.  I’m doing this under the Receiving Center for US Foods POs with the eDOC available.

Please provide any additional information or recommendations on this.  The material found in the release notes was minimal.

Thank you for your query.

According to the Release Notes: Adaco 4_6_92, the default rounding rate/action takes place "after an Order is received" & then can be viewed in Receiving Corrections (as per Fig.1) so it doesn't pre-populate in Receiving Center (or the Mobile Receiving App, for reference).

If an eDOC (eInvoice) is matched to an order ahead of posting the receiving, it will be visible in Receiving Center & allow for the Receiving to be posted with a difference as long as it is below the Auto Rounding Threshold.

If an eDOC (eInvoice) is matched to an order after the receiving being posted, it will be visible in Receiving Corrections:

  • If the difference is below the Auto Rounding Threshold, the Default Rounding Rate will be added & the Invoice will be applied
  • If the difference is above the Auto Rounding Threshold, the Default Rounding Rate will not be added & the Invoice will not be applied
