Fourth HR Payroll (Prism) has a list of certifications, which makes sense because certifications are unique to the employee.
Hotschedules also has a list of certifications for the employee. If the certifications are expired in HS, then the person cannot be scheduled, which is the functionality that the operators have had for years now. If the employee works at more than one location, the certifications must be maintained on the employee record at each location. Lots of opportunity to have inconsistent data.
If HR Payroll and Hotschedules are integrated and HR Payroll is the golden source for employee data, then the employee certifications should be added and maintained on the employee in HR Payroll, then replicate to the employee record in HotSchedules. Certifications belong to the employee, not the location.
