If the P45s for the terminated employees haven’t yet been processed, you’ll be able to change the employee status from Former back to Current and then add the furlough dates. To do this, you’d need Administrator access, and would go to HR > Employees > Employee List > search for the employee in the Former list and select the employee > Employee Info > Employment Details > towards the bottom of the page there is a ‘Status’ field, change to Current > save.

If the P45s have already been processed, you can add the furlough dates via the furlough batch upload function, it won’t be visible in the employee’s history and they won’t have the Furlough link on their employee summary, however you will be able to see the record with the furlough dates in the Furlough Export.
