StarChef: Can I remove Ingredients, Recipes and Menus?

The answer to this depends on whether StarChef is used in conjunction with our Inventory system, which it normally is. In these cases items cannot be deleted. However, they can and should be archived, in order to keep the database tidy and easier to navigate.

If StarChef is not connected to our Inventory system then items can be permanently removed.

Only ingredients that are not being used in recipes can be archived or removed. To identify these unused ingredients, run the report called 'Unused ingredients'.
