Staff Loans

Hi   We came across a loan that was sitting on the system with no payments being made to pay it off!   This is obviously an error on our part however I am keen to know if there is a report I can pull to show all active Loans to ensure the deductions from employees are set up properlley   Thanks

Yes we have given the staff member a loan and they are paying it back as a deduction each week from their wages.

 

I am aware we can see the ones that are deducting, what I would like to see is a list of people who have been give a loan so I can double check the weekly deduction is being paid back each week.

Hi @Sharon Harkins​ When you refer to a staff loan, are you talking about a payroll net deduction? Any live loans (with deductions) would be visible on the payroll preview, however there are not currently any reports that would show loans with a £0.00 deduction.

Hi @Sharon Harkins​ 

You can run a custom report to for payment description (employee name, payment value, pay period etc) and set the condition to LIKE.

When you run the report enter LOAN in the text box. This will provide you with a list of all loans that have been paid. You can then cross reference with the deductions report to ensure they have been repaid.

To ensure the money is recovered, a deduction must be recreated as 'Reduce from total'. This will automatically deduct each pay period.
