The Suspension Functionality within the HR module will not have an impact on payroll, it is to be used as a recording tool only. Payments/ deductions would need to be manually added to the payroll. You can report on suspension history using the HR Custom Reports.
Alternatively, some customers record suspension via the absence functionality. You can create an 'Absence Type' called 'Suspension' and set it to deduct days from employees, or indeed pay in full (or both). This information can be reported on using the Absence Analysis report in the HR Module.
