New Scheduler update is terribleAnswered
The new scheduler is bad. So much information is thrown at you in one place making it difficult to quickly identify just the essential information. HotSchedules has way over complicated this. The templates are huge and spread out and with large fonts making a much smaller portion of the scheduler visible at a time requiring much more scrolling which wouldn’t be that bad except for the fact that the information loads to each individual box SO SLOWLY with each and every scroll. House shifts are no longer contained in a separate and fixed window that is always visible. This is the single most important group of information that needs to be looked at while creating a new schedule! I have to keep scrolling to the bottom now to see it!?!? The tutorial to learn the update is way too brief and doesn’t explain much and this thing is not super intuitive. The ONLY positive I can see in this is that I can now work on multiple schedules in one place, however, it does not even remotely make up for all of the many inconveniences I’m now forced to muddle through in this clunky update. It is going to take twice as long to write a schedule now. PLease give us an option to opt out of this update!!!
