Editing Schedule

I'm trying to figure out how to create a schedule for my store.

I have my staff list and their job codes. Some have already started putting in their availability and I've been trying to experiment from that.

So I've created a template and I'm trying to drag and drop the shifts and it's not letting me. It has let me do it maybe twice, but it's not consistent. I'm trying to delete the two shifts but it won't let me. I pressed the cell and pressed deleted. I also pressed the "..." symbol and my options came up. I've pressed all the options and it does nothing. Am I doing this right? Or is there another way?
