Language Translation in Logbook
Subject: Request to Add Translation Feature in HotSchedules Logbook
Hey [HotSchedules Rep / Relevant Contact],
I’d like to request a translation feature in the HotSchedules Logbook to enable seamless communication between English and Spanish.
This would be a huge step toward creating ultra-inclusive opportunities for our team members who don’t have English as their primary language. It would also eliminate language barriers, improve clarity in communication, and ensure that promotions and growth within our company are not limited by language.
If there’s already an option for this, please let me know how we can implement it. If not, I’d love to explore how we can integrate a real-time translation tool within the Logbook to translate messages between English and Spanish.

Thanks for the post. Unfortunately a tool like this is not available. As a user, you can choose if you want to English or Spanish as your language but that is limited to just the interface. Any type text (such as logbook communications) will always appear in the language used. At this time, there are no plans to introduce a translation tool within the UI. What I have seen other customers do (where possible) is write the message in both English and Spanish so no matter which user is logging in, they'll see both. A bit time consuming but may address the immediate need.
