    Good day James!

Freight would be considered a "rate" within Adaco, Once created you could then build a "rate schedule" to apply directly to your product master so that it is included all the time on the Purchase Order when created.

Our "Best Practice" has been to create a freight rate that is "10%" as this has thus far been an appropriate placeholder value as then it takes 10% of the product cost, which can later be updated at the time of receiving to the true freight value.

Please refer to this article regarding the process.  Adaco: Creating a Rate and Rate Schedule – Fourth & HotSchedules Customer Success Portal

Please let us know if you have any further questions!

Can you associate freight and tax at the same time?

    James,

Yes, you can. This would be the portion of the documentation shared related to "rate schedule."

Once you've created the rates for "tax" and one for "freight" you can then create a "rate schedule" combining these two rates.  Once the "rate schedule" is created it can be associated against a product.
