Absence - half-day

Hi!

Is there a way to record a half-day absence in the system? Like with half-day holidays.

  Thank you for your post!
  
  Unfortunately, this functionality is not available at present.

  However, I'm pleased to tell you that we will be including this idea in a larger piece of work we have planned, which is to do a complete refactor of the current absence functionality.
  
  A full refactor will give us a lot more opportunity to build in new absence features and will make it much easier for our customers to report on absences by the day rather than by the absence period.
  
  I would advise following our release notes to stay updated on this once more information is available.
