Can't schedule double shifts for Employees
AnsweredWhen your HotSchedules site is set up, it is created with specified day parts, such as AM and PM shifts.You can see what day parts are setup under the Settings Tab. Select Company and then look for Shift Information.
When you assign out shifts the system will read the shift as an AM or PM shift depending on where the majority falls. For example, if I schedule someone from 2pm - 10pm (and my PM day part starts at 4) this would be considered a PM shift since only 2 hrs lie in the AM slot and everything else is in the PM slot.
The system will only allow an employee to be scheduled 1 shift per day part. If you are trying to schedule a person a double you will need to keep these day parts in mind and modify their schedule according. Please contact Customer Care if you have further questions about your day parts.
