How best to add and manage 'Birthday day off' within WFM
Hi,
Our customer is wanting to introduce a new benefit to their employees, offering them a day off for their birthdays.
This day must be taken within the week of their Birthday and will not be paid out if not taken or if not taken and the employee leaves the company.
Please could you advise on how to manage this within the system and how it should be managed in regard to holiday entitlement?

I am afraid that this isn't a current function on the system therefore i would advise in creating an ideas request from the below link. If you would like a work around for this in the meantime then you can create an absence type.

We give our employees a paid day off for their birthday in the same way you are proposing, but it is up to the department managers to remember to schedule the birthday off, either on the day if possible or in same week. It is not linked to holiday allowance.
When we used Rota's we created a shift type for Birthday. Now we use Scheduling, we have created a paid Passive shift which is noted as their Birthday day.
