Employee pay slip Tax year reverting back to current tax year

@Julia Terry has asked when looking at employees' payslips for previous years, the tax year will always revert to the current year once a payslip is downloaded. Is there a reason for this or is there a way to ensure the selected tax year remains that you have been looking at?

Path Payroll> Select employee > Employee payroll info > Past payslips> Select tax year > Search > Download relevant payslip> reverts back to current tax year
